"Refund policy feels way too rigid"
I accidentally bought the wrong module and trying to get a refund was frustrating. I get that digital products need rules, but the policy felt unnecessarily strict, especially for an honest mistake. It kind of gave me the impression they care more about keeping the sale than helping customers fix an issue. I just wish they offered a little more time or flexibility

"Some of the jet sounds are actually..."
Some of the jet sounds are actually really nice, but the explosions and radio chatter can feel kind of flat at times, at least to me. It’s not bad overall, but I keep wondering if anyone else feels like the audio mix could be more consistent?

"Mission editor’s been easy to figure out"
I’ve been messing around with the mission editor quite a bit lately, and it’s easier to get into than I thought it’d be. Like, once you click around for a bit, setting up triggers and units starts to make sense. I still do the wrong thing here and there, or forget some setting and wonder why nothing works, but it’s usually not a huge pain to fix. It’s just nice for throwing together quick missions without feeling completely buried in menus or... yeah, all that.

"Pretty much what I figured early access would be"
I picked this up in early access, and it’s been good so far. There are definitely some bugs here and there, and a few moments where I’m not totally sure what’s going on, but I kind of expected that going in. Even with the confusing bits, I’m still having a lot of fun with it

"Easy setup, but a little boxed in"
Setting up the controls was easy enough, honestly. I didn’t have much trouble getting everything going, but once I was done, I kind of felt trapped with the way it was laid out. It works, but I wish there was a bit more flexibility

"Great sim, but the support scene is a headache"
The sim itself is really cool, and I’ve had some amazing moments with it. But wow, the community and modding support can feel like total chaos sometimes. Half the time, you’re digging through random forum threads or chasing answers in Discord like you’re solving a mystery, instead of finding clear official info. Then an update drops, a bunch of mods break, and suddenly you’re left staring at errors like, “Cool, guess this is my life now.” Some people in the community are genuinely helpful, but others can be weirdly harsh to new users, which makes it feel intimidating. For such a huge sim, I really expected way better support.

"Pretty helpful, though not perfect"
I’m giving it 4 stars because DCS is definitely demanding, at least on my setup. The site and sim info helped me figure out some better settings, and after messing around with a few tweaks, it runs much smoother on my PC. I still get the occasional small stutter here and there, so I’m not totally sure everything is dialed in perfectly yet, but it’s a lot better than it was before.

"Really wanted to like it, but it wore me down"
I wanted to give this a fair shot, but the learning curve was rough. The tutorials didn’t really clear things up for me, and I spent most of the time feeling confused and stuck. After a while, it almost felt like I was begging the product to help me understand it, which just left me kind of resentful. Definitely not something I’d call beginner friendly.

"Really cool in VR, but still a bit rough"
Flying in VR is awesome, and it can feel surprisingly real when everything is running right. I was, well, I was really impressed at first. But getting it all set up was kind of a pain, and my PC definitely struggles with the performance drops. The menus also don’t feel great to use inside the headset. It’s a fun sim for sure, just not smooth enough for me yet

"Tough to Learn, But Honestly Worth It"
I’ve been using DCS for a while now, and the realism is pretty much what keeps pulling me back in. The cockpit controls, the way the aircraft feel, the startup procedures, even the tiny little details all feel really well done. At first I thought it was maybe too much, actually no, that’s kind of what makes it so satisfying once things start clicking. You’ll definitely mess up a lot in the beginning, but if you like actually learning how these aircraft work, it’s a really solid sim.

"Really nice flying feel"
I tried the planes and they was feeling super detailed. The way they fly feels just right, like you actually have control without it being too hard. I was enjoying it more than I expected.

"Smoother Than Before"
The recent fixes definitely made things run smoother for me. Compared to what a lot of people were complaining about before, it feels like a noticeable improvement. That said, I still run into a few bugs here and there, so it’s not perfect yet

"Locked out way too often"
I’m tired of dealing with this login issue. So many times when I actually need to get into my account, it just spins forever or tells me my password is wrong, even right after I reset it. Then support takes forever to respond, and meanwhile I’m missing updates and access that I already paid for. Stuff happens, but at some point the company needs to take responsibility and fix the problem instead of leaving customers stuck.

"Activation was fine, but the waiting got annoying"
My license activation went through without any real issues, and thankfully the DRM didn’t cause problems once it was done. I was able to get into the sim easily after that. The only thing that bugged me was the waiting around during the process — it felt longer than it needed to be

After an update, I suddenly had trouble logging in and expected it to take a while to sort out. But support got back to me the same day, walked me through the fix in really simple steps, and it worked on the first try. Super relieved and genuinely happy with the help I got

"It works, but it can be a little frustrating"
The website is usable, and I did get what I needed done, so that part was fine. But then I’d try to find downloads or account settings and suddenly feel annoyed because it takes more clicks than it should. Some of the menus feel a bit crowded, and a few pages look kind of outdated, which made the whole thing feel less smooth. I wouldn’t say it’s bad, because it does work, but it definitely had me going back and forth between “okay, this is fine” and “why is this so hard to find?”

The manuals were definitely helpful overall, but a few sections were still kind of hard to get through, if that makes sense.

"Trust me, the views are worth it"
The planes, cockpits, and even the little details on the ground all look incredibly sharp. The lighting really stands out too, especially around sunset. sometimes I don’t even have a plan, I just trust my instinct, take off, and fly around for a while because the views are that good

"Fun missions, just wish some were longer"
I’ve had a good time with the missions overall. They’re fun and keep things moving, though some of the campaigns feel a bit short—actually, not short exactly, just like they end right when I’m getting really into them
